This Madagascar birding tour is very well set to see the Birds of Madagascar in the best sites for Birding in Madagascar. Madagascar is a promised destination for ornithologists or twitchers with its 107 endemic bird species, 198 nesting birds, and 5 ENDEMIC FAMILIES.
You don’t need luck to see members of at least 5 endemic families which every year, attract Birders from all around the world: Beautiful Ground rollers, the unique Asitys, the diverse Vangas, the terrestrial Mesites and the Couas. This guided birding tour to Madagascar allows photography of the endemic birds of Madagascar.

- Starting very early in morning to bird watch at Analamazaotra NP with a birder local guide

DAY 6: Drive to Ampijoroa National Park and go on a night walk

- Drive back to Tana and relax at the hotel, the following day will be a long drive to Ranomafana National Park.

- 8 hours drive from Tana to Ranomafana National Park.
- Meet the Local Guide and talk about the schedule for the following birding day

DAY 14: Full day birding in Isalo National Park
- Morning visit at Isalo National Park
- Isalo NP is not a recommended place for birding but it’s where we can spot the Benson’s Rock thrush and it is the most visited NP in the country because of its amazing landscapes and canyons.
NB: The stay at Isalo NP makes easier the following birding at Zombitse Forest - Overnight in the Hotel (Hotel included: luxury or mid range)
DAY 15: Drive from Isalo National Park to Ifaty
- Driving from Isalo NP to Ifaty
- Meet the local guide to plan the following day Birding

DAY 16: Full day birding in forest in Ifaty
- Early visit in the forest
- NB : This site, is definitely be included in any itinerary, as it is the only easily accessible area for a number of very rare endemics.

- Morning ferry to Masoala NP (The biggest Rainforest in the Island)

Masoala NP is the best place to discover the Cap East and the place for birding : Helmeted Vanga, Bernier’s Vanga, and Red-breasted Coua….
